A FAIRYTALE

In the town of Bar, where Seely Boo grew up, nothing ever happened. Nothing at all. In fact, the only thing Bar had going for it was the legend of its greatest folk hero, John Rake. A young magician killed in a war long ago and far away, the tales of Rake's valiant death stretch back to when Seely was a little girl. Now all grown up, Seely has all but forgotten her childhood hero and the stories about him - until one stormy night, when a man claiming to be John Rake appears on her front doorstep.

Now Seely is about to find herself wrapped in a legend of her own.
